I had a cool find today. I finished Redwalls 15th book Ttiss. about to start 16 Loamhedge When I went to get the book down another book fell to the floor. I picked it up and looked inside and written in it wa To Dorathea As a remembrance of her Aunt Sophia. May 14. 1904 Wow how cool is that! So I looked and it was published in 1883! Its called East Lynne by Mrs Henry Wood. I must of got it at the libray sale. or it came from an acution ? I cant remember were I got it but its a cool find
I have not started it yet. Just skimmed through it. seems to be abut a poor guy comming into a title and money. The print is so small! But after my redwall books Ill read it Glad you got a book you like I also just got Quilts from the Civil War by Barbara Brackman and American quilts, A sampler of quilts and their stories by Jennifer Regan Those look good too
Finished reading the last of the Redwall books. started reading The Civil War Diary quilt. Its got story's from women's diary's from the war and quilt blocks for each story. From what Im reading most of theses women are the richer ones. kinda getting on my nerves.
