OK, phamily- y'all know I love my cats... but I am having one heck of a time keeping them out of my raised beds, flower pots....even my STRAWBERRY POT! They wait until night time to get into them, but I do know it is cats because every morning there they are- laying on my herbs and cucumbers squint They run when I open the door and I can't catch the little buggars because they KNOW I am mad. I came out this morning to my dill squashed flat, 2 cucumbers squashed flat, and my strawberry pot broken(they even dig the dirt out of the tiny holes) How do I keep them out? Thankfully enough, they are not messing with my actual garden! Suggestions please!!

Thankfully enough, they are not messing with my actual garden! Suggestions please!! we love cats...but I activate my *D.C.P.A. when I see them about the garden or plants.. they seem to get the picture... we are surrounded by over a 1000 acres of newly turned soil......However, they still prefer my freshly turned soil.. during planting and until the garden is grown a bit..(they don't go near or pay much attention after it has grown some) we have them locked up..unless we are outdoors,,which is almost always except night.. Don't fret though...their confinement is dry, comfy..has heat (if needed) water, food.. everything but a Jacuzzi and a mint on their pillows shake agree so..we have most everything fenced..but ya can't fence everything..so around the corn and larger areas I use three strands of electric fence... gets their attention (would be garden prowlers of any size too) right now..we have 9 cats outside..One of which is preggers.. so we need to find homes for 5..and from the looks of the preggers one..9 dtb so..wanna Cat?? If I have yer address..open suspicious packages carefully *Dirt Clod pitching Arm

And yes we do Love the cats..but..when it comes to the garden space they are NOT allowed in OUR space. The mud clods will fly..from both of us. Our one cat that is preggers seems to like to be P.G. it seems like she should have had them by now.. She looks like a lil pregnant goat the way she carries them. One of these days we will find her & a bunch o lil kittens some place.
