Planted cabbage today...a 45 day kind......gets to 2 to 2.5 pounds......we love the stuff, so i hope it does good.

Cavey, glad that you can plant. So wet here that can't work the ground. I have plants that really need to be planted now. Foggy and wet here this morning. But hope it will clear soon. CF

The ground here is still too wet to work, but we just used a spade to make a small spot. hpltr

The ground here is still too wet to work, but we just used a spade to make a small spot. hpltr Our ground is too wet now also. We did PLANT lettuce & radishes on sat. afternoon. & we fluffed the garlic hay. So now we wait & see if the seeds come up!

I planted a variety of cabbage family plants between freezes, and a few of them are coming up. Cabbage can stand a few hours of cold: I decided that if the weatherman predicted some longer cold spells that I would cover anything that is up.
I didn't see any broccoli seeds: I will have to look for them more carefully. I rather like broccoli with cheese sauce.
