Carrot seeds have been put in the window boxes. Potatoes have been planted in the ground. Abe Lincoln and Beefsteak tomatoes have sprouted in the pretend greenhouse. The straw bales have been started and it's rained for a week so they should be happy. Put up 25 pints of strawberry freezer jam today. Yummy. Got to start the squash and cuke seeds.

Finally got the squash and cucumber seeds planted. They'll sprout quickly and I'll get them in the squash bales which should be good and soaked by now after all the rain we've had. Many of the tomato seeds have sprouted in the pretend greenhouse but still not big enough to put in the raised beds. We never did get those other raised beds put together so I might end up with just the 2 I've got now. My vegetable garden will be smaller than in years past.

Phil, I had trouble finding my 2015 garden. Actually had to use my profile new threads button to get here. Not sure what's up.

My garden is pitiful. It's been hot and dry and the green beans haven't even come up. The squash are usually loaded by now but the plants are still tiny.

cold, rain, blazing hot, cold, rain, blazing hot, cold, no rain, blazing hot, not rain, a million degrees, no rain. The corn around here is still only 2 feet high and is tasling. I have replanted the green beans an they still haven't even broken ground.
