Mom would save an old pillow case to tear into strips if needed. Sometimes not even that.
I tore up some old pillow cases in to strips. I had washed and bleached and tore, ironed and zip bags, to have on hand. Stuff is so high. I try to always have some first aid supplies.
But Nov we found neither son or I had large bandaids in our stuff. Pharmacy did not either. They ordered. Next day later got. And pharmacy is closed weekends so was days getting. I bought a couple packs when got to city to be sure we now both have. Hope never need again. Dollar Tree does have some stuff. I am miles and miles from any city.

Like band aids. I bought a roll 1" wide tape. I was sure I had bought a roll but did not find. No metal cases now or plastic but zip bags to store after opening.
