Montgomery County farmers want permits to fight vultures MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - They're a nuisance, and farmers in Montgomery County say they're also a dangerous threat. Farmers say flocks of black vultures have killed calves, and are even threatening children. The vultures are protected under federal law. Farmers are now applying for a special kind of permit they say will help them protect their farms. www.wkyt.com/home/headlines/Montgomery-County-farmers-want-permits-to-fight-vultures-317969341.html
