Kernels from 12 ears of sweet corn
1 head of green cabbage, shredded
6 bell peppers, seeded and finely diced
1/4 cup salt
2 ribs of celery, diced
1 pint of vinegar
1 teaspoon of celery seed
Mix together in a large nonreactive pot. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and cook 30 minutes. Put into sterilized jars and store in a cool place or chill and serve immediately.
