Hi everyone,
It's that time of year again. Time to look over seed sites and catalogues. So what are you going to grow for 2018? I do have some seeds from 2016.But will need to build my seeds back up. Four main groups will be my focus. Tomatoes, peppers, melons and pumpkin/winter squash . I will have other favorites but these four groups have always been the main focus of my garden.

I'm growing lima beans for the first time in years. I'm going to try a bush type which I've never grown. My usuals are tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, potatoes. I'm not growing green beans this year.

Agree with Kevin on the ford hook beans, last time we planted them, a small 3x5 plot yielded over a bushel of beans

My sister plants Cushaw squash and loves it. It's easy to grow in West Virginia. I saw a recipe the other day for a Cushaw pie with a custard base. Looked delicious.
