The wally trip was really amazing.I ordered the stuff on the computer as site is larger and easier to navigate then the phone that with a tiny screen Im NOT impressed by. Then I did checkout on computer and left cell phone number. When ready for you to come on down they send an email that says go to the phone app and sign in.Go to app and it asks if they may track your devices location.Click yes and it says all checked in,no further action needed.
So when you pull up to loading spot they see you on GPS and in minutes Destiny(very nice personable young lady) came out with the groceries.I helped her load into bags because I know how I like them divided up.Then you sign name on a tablet and done.Pretty amazing.I ordered some tomatoes just to see how will they pick produce and they picked good ones.Destiny also shopped my groceries and gave me her card for the followup review they send you to fill in if you want to.I did on computer and gave her excellent review. That matters to them as they get graded by big brother wally based on that.I talked to the other customer there getting loaded and she was also hugely pleased with the concept/service too.
I had 1 item out of stock, pepper jack cheese, and 8 substitutions I accepted(you can accept or deny subs)instead of Ivory soap I accepted same amt of Dawn for same price.Out of great value green beans so got DelMonte for same price.Canned black beans they were out of,got Bushes brand instead of great value brand.14 oz of coconut organic oil out so they gave me 29 oz jar at same cheaper price.I like how you dont pay more for the substitutions, they honor price on what you ordered, pretty neat. All In all was very slick and Im hugely impressed by the whole operation,Fast, efficient and the furthest I had to walk for 175 dollars of groceries was from car to trunk. This is just what I needed.
the canned veggies were 48/can,cant beat that!Doggies were missing their canned peas. So answered that, for the large major shopping for groceries, this is going to be what I do. ===========================================

Nope, I wouldn't be satisfied with the subs, when we shop we get what we want...read all labels...and if they don't have the item...we either go elsewhere or re-think are meals, and like the Dawn liquid they subed for You...I would be pissed if I got lemon scented dish soap. No, this would not work for me, It would have to be No subs

No, this would not work for me, It would have to be No subs Yeah, you can do no subs at all if thats your choice. You can sub some items,no subs, whatever at order time. Also if you allow subs they review them with you when they come out,you can yay or nay at that time also,no big deal, they just remove em,simple.
Really a well thought out and executed system,Im amazed,we are talking Wally after all,and we all know how wally sux big time.It was BETTER than I expected actually.I dont say that very often.
I use Ivory to wash me with, the dawn can be used in sink.
Normally anything scented I dont buy, allergies and such. And you can read the labels when you pick an item at the site, just zoom in on the ingredients label, they show them.I read labels too,big time.
Like I said, they have really done this right.Extremely customer service oriented. We have gone back to the early 1900's grocery model.Early mail order Sears,Monkey Wards type deal except you do the home delivery part,it worked then and it works now.And my back doesnt ache,my legs dont ache, and if you dont hit a bus you are stylin'!
Still getting my veggies elsewhere on way home, again, bus sorta got in my way on that plan yesterday.
And if it can compete with amazon and the megalomaniacs' world domination, count me in.

Some things Sam's does not deliver Snow melt on order for pick up Not 100% good Ive noticed that too that a lot of heavy stuff wont get delivered,Like 1 gallon vinegar.
I got 3 of the spray 9 cleaner,1 gallon, for 27 delivered from amazon. 8.57 per gallon, last time i paid 17.02/gallon. Got that price up to 3,add a 4th and price jumps to over 70 dollars. So half price over last order.Very odd pricing, lets see if it comes.
I shop amazon last because 1 week for an order if not prime, they just sit on the orders.BUT,for that savings,I will use them, begrudgingly, but still, thats a deal.I will put up with the poor shipping times for items that delivery times dont matter, like this order.
Heck, just ordered 3 more, thats a deal. And this time would have let me order four at 8.52, but 3 more is plenty, thats 6 gallons, take a while to use that up.
Spray Nine 26801 Heavy Duty Cleaner/Degreaser and Disinfectant - 1 Gallon, (Pack of 1)

Be careful with Amazon shopping. Delete your account info after each transaction. I know two people who've been hacked since Christmas.

we order something almost every week from Amazon Very big savings on stuff we buy at the big box stores, most of the time 3 days max for delivery. We share a prime account, and have had no problems. There is a fulfillment center just a few miles north, everything gets here quick
It is handy for Us for 2 reasons... we only go to town once a week And sometimes due to weather or we forgot something (bad memories)

From amazon, the spray 9 I ordered on the 19th got here at 830pm jan 20.Checking email and saw it delivered front outside gate, didnt hear them at all and Snookie didnt bark.Stealth delivery? The amazon order from the 18th hasnt shipped yet.Pretty amazing, and confusing as always from amazon.
Got my candy order and 50 lbs dogfood from Jan 18 order at wally.com (not their grocery site) in 2 deliveries today. They put the 50 lbs in the worlds most mutilated box ,last time came in a plastic bag that traveled well.
Still have 02 sensor and spray 9 from amazon due in 2 separate orders, and tail end of wally order, sugar free caramels and baby soap all thats left, supposedly will come together.I divided the orders up so I dont get heavy heavy stuff and more delicate items in same box.3 gallons spray 9 heavy enough by themselves. All in all pretty darn good job IMO. Getting the ropes down on this delivery thing.LIKE!!

From amazon, the spray 9 I ordered on the 19th got here at 830pm jan 20.Checking email and saw it delivered front outside gate, didnt hear them at all and Snookie didnt bark.Stealth delivery? the last couple of deliveries we have received, the stuff was left on the porch, we did not here a thing...strange too there's a lot of driveway...we both must be going deaf
On the dress for church. Don't own anything but jeans. that's fine with Me, Folks should go to their buildings to worship as they see fit to dress. My Mother, being NA, taught me the beliefs, As a young boy, I asked if I could go to the small cinder block church that was a block from home.
I had seen other kids there on Sundays and wanted to join them. Mother said I could go, learn their ways.
I went dressed in all we had back then, blue jeans (not new - a bit haggard) and a white tee shirt (no pocket).
I was the gossip..Poor boy, comin' dressed like that...I was humiliated.
Can count the number of times in a church on one hand
The parishioners/Reverend in a broken down cinder block church, talking down to me for being poor.
To me, it's a sin to judge a man based on his dress, let alone bash a child
As I sit in the garden working, I watch neighbors pass by on Sundays, wave to them, I know they are headed to church A couple knows, but all should realize, I'm in my church already, worshiping

Wally continues to step up their game.At altitude, packages expand.A problem here, liquids can leak. What they do now,if product doesnt come with a seal under the lid, they put a shrink wrap over the spout,ie,the pumps on the liquid detergents now have them.Good job. They are playing catch up,but whoever is heading up the delivery aspect is doing a great job getting it right.
Oh,ordered on the 18th,saturday and arrived all by the 21st.Not too shabby!

Thats my take on the whole rigamarole,I like it overall.
4-Im not shopping for exercise,I get all I can handle right here at home
5-No heavy lifting
6-No pushing heavy square wheeled crappy carts 50 miles (as i say,not shopping for the exercise)
7-No unloading at checkout,no loading and unloading car,no driving,no car expenses
8-No screaming back pain
9-No major 1 day shopping at 5 stores, too much for us overall anymore,
12-Did I mention NO SCREAMING BACK PAIN??==================================== Yup,this is working GREAT on my back.I was almost 3 hours at junkyard other day.Sore hands, sore left knee, tight across shoulder blades but no real back pain,no pain down leg.So all in all, survived that.I think taking shopping trips with the heavy loads out of the equation is a huge deal. Those were 3-5 hr trips and lots of strain. Im learning.Puts back yard tree trimming off schedule, thats OK,those 2 snow storms brought down several branches.1 kratom today for soreness,I think that makes like 4 pain pills, kratom, in a month this last month, very nice!!

OK,substitutions on this order.Again no Ivory,shopper/delivery girl substituted some organic brand instead( I wonder if they even have ivory there?). Ordered three 8oz provolone slices, got three 16 oz instead for same price.Works for me!
On way there app beeps,we sign in by pushing a button and allowing tracking.Got there, less than 5 minutes she was pulling out our groceries.Im telling you,I love this. Also found the best route there skipping freeway and city traffic, very cool.Part of route goes thru a warehouse district that has amazon, pepsico and a Edison powerplant.Big wide road and NO traffic hardly at all.NICE!
When i got home i parked in front of planter on street instead if driveway.Put groceries in planter bypassing 3 steps, and cutting walk from car in half.15 bags of stuff, adds up on weight hauling.Yup,Im getting this new shopping dialed in!About $165 at wally, and 28.50 at the vegetables and peanuts for birds store.

At work we had to push heavy med cart with computers on them, she forgot what that did to us. All she had to say was she sure likes the new shopping plan.

Wally hit it out of the park this time.Best order yet. They just keep getting better and better. This order was perfection.I have learned a trick though.I put in 2 orders, one with the heavy things and one with the light bulky stuff. So you dont get a giant overloaded box. Also buy the wally stuff, not from a third party (that delays shipping) unless thats all that has it,like the cars 02 sensor I saved 40% on.
Soooo....I did 2 orders feb 19 at 1223 am and 0102 am. Came today feb 20 at 4pm.Yup,one day delivery,FREE!! 1st order...1 BIG box with the paper towels and paper plates.2nd box medium/small sized, that had napkins and box of baby wipes.
2nd order was all heavy liquid stuff in a smaller box, easily handled.
All excellent packing in correct sized boxes, next day delivery and FREE Fedex delivery and as always the prices were VERY good. All came from a local store/warehouse? down the hill.
Yup,cant get me in their insane stores, but online? Whoever is head of the online department and that team are VERY good. This is the way to shop.I only had to carry that stuff from gate to door and that matters for me a lot. They are KILLING it!!

Then went to sprouts, albertsons and staters.Lot of meat, spent 600 dollars, gassed up car at 3.49/gal for premium.Big trip, not our new usual but we were out of a lot.Freezer not as bare. Now our normal is 2 stores max per trip.

Hmmmm....my dogfood is delayed and no future date given.Bummer as Mrs was at feed store today and could have bought some. -------------------------------------------- Thanks for your recent order. Unfortunately, the items shown below are delayed. We'll ship them as soon as we can and, if possible, upgrade you to faster shipping at no additional cost. -------------------------------- So I requested a cancellation. Now 2 hours later a shipping label for fedex was created. But not coming from B-ville like most my orders but 15 miles further away in C-ville.Guess they really dont want you cancelling and shopping elsewhere?? So I guess I get it tomorrow Wednesday or Thursday.Hmmmmmm...I say again.

So we need a new shredder.Mrs at Staples and asked me to check out a certain model at 149 dollars.Went online,it had horrible ratings. At the staples site saw one for 100 dollars,on sale at 69 dollars with great ratings, told her to get the Fellows 12c model.Wasnt in the store.
So I ordered it online. With tax, free shipping came to 75 dollars. Was here in a couple days,no nonsense, well packed.LOL,I had it ordered before she left the store.
So add Staples to a good online shopping experience. The sales price was legit too,it was 100 to 109 dollars at other places, including wally and amazon.
Quietest shredder weve ever had, some complained of noise, guess I need to get out more because Im sure impressed with this one. Well done Staples
