Since I posted a photo of my wife's dog, I felt only naturally compelled that I must post one of my cat, as well. This is my plump — ever-so-rotund — cat, KiKi, doing what she does best!

Before we had KiKi (short for Kitty Kitty), we had Fe-Fe ( Ferocious Feline) for about 12 years. Fe-Fe and KiKi looked very similar. We had Fe-Fe from 1988 to 2000; when we lost Fe-Fe, we got KiKi in 2000 and have had her since.

What a pretty kitty!! I LOVE cats.....unfortunately- I have no luck with them. Growing up- I had cats for YEARS, now I'm lucky to have them for a couple months before something happens to them. Usually the road.

Yeah- I haven't replaced my last kitty Moonshine since she got hit a few months ago. That almost killed me. Until my house is big enough for them to be happy inside all the time- I'm not getting another one. Lost too many over the years to that. On another note- I had a BIG male "tiger" that we named KC short for Kitty Cat because we couldn't come up with a cool name we all agreed on......

Well, after we lost Fe-Fe, I was determined I would not get attached to another cat. But my wife saw how I was when she left us and told me about a woman who was getting rid of two kittens and begged and pleaded for me to see them. At first, I adamantly refused, but she kept telling me "You need another cat!" So I reluctantly went to see the kitty; it took to me right away. So I agreed to keep the kitty on a one-week trial basis, not giving her a name at the time, except for "Kitty Kitty". One week became two weeks. On one occasion where I thought she'd disappeared, I came calling for "Kitty Kitty", rapidly enough that it came out with a resulting sound of "KiKi" — thus, she was named! As I've stated previously, she's been with us for almost 8 years now ......
