He loves the rose bushes. I wasn't crazy about him eating them but he wanted them and needless to say, we spoil our goats like most people spoil their dogs or cats. They get a small baggy of snacks 3 times a week! And do they ever look forward to that small bag of snacks. In them are animal crackers, snack crackers, saltines, pretzels, cheese puffs and corn chips. Most of them will wag their little tail when they get their snacks.

Sounds like our puppy dogs, they get more snacks then the kids do

We use to give them twice as much everyday. We were spending over 50 bucks a month on their snacks! I got worried that it was to much so we cut those down some. I had a poodle that somehow knew when I was making pancakes. He loved those things! Well, every time I would begin mixing the batter, in the kitchen he would come. He would look up at me and watch me while sitting up begging! He always got 8-10 small pancakes before anyone else did.

My two dogs just drive me nuts in the kitchen when they smell the food, can't even walk in there without tripping over them sometimes

That's the way it is when we let more than one goat out at a time. Heck, even one goat! They are all jealous of one another and will hang around at your feet hoping not to miss out on anything.

My dogs are the same. Whenever they hear me get the cutting board out and start cutting up fresh veggies, they are at my feet. They love fresh brocolli, carrots, peppers, etc. I know, strange! Dogs excited over fresh veggies and goats over crackers and stuff...who'da figured!? ROTFLMAO

My aunt had a little poodle that loved green beans from a can. Then she enjoyed getting her eyes and mouth cleaned with a warm wash cloth. I'm telling ya these animals are human like no matter what kind they are.

Actually, it was the vets recommendation to give the dogs green beans because they are low cal and good for the dogs. Fresh vegies such as carrots and brocolli, and peppers are also recommended. Processed dog foods are high in fats and by products so that is why the vet recommends supplementing with the veggies. Fills them up without the calories! Thumb

The vet did NOT recommend green bean casserole, however! Just the plain canned green beans!
