Well, Yesterday it got up to a warm, very sunny 53 degrees. The ground was wet and cool. So I went out and planted my Garlic that I have been putting off since fall. Talk about spring fever. Who ever would think you can plant stuff in Western Pennsylvania on New Years Day. It is usually cold, snowy and 'FROZEN' This is my kinda winter, WARM Waving

YB ya might wanna mulch around yer garlic so the ground doesnt freeze till it sets root.

oh how fun!!! we have a 1/2 inch of ice covering EVERYTHING all the doors are frozen shut.. no digging in the dirt here today!!

Got black plastic on top and a load of dried grass over that. Should be fine. Thanks X

Should be fine YB, I would make a MeNtAl note tho, to make sure you get the plastic off early...I'd probably ferget it! Disturbed
