when Bethany grows up she wants to become a vet, she intends to discover an oral birth control method for cats. in the mean time we are in the midst of a kitten explosion. our Smokey cat had her babies in the truck of one of my sons cars. I'm not sure what happened but the kittens died, Smokey spent several days looking for them. meanwhile, another one had her litter in the basement window well, she didn't like that spot so she kept moving them (i left the window i my truck open for 5 mins and she already had one in there).. all the mewing of the newly moved kittens and the left behind ones was driving poor Smokey nuts, she still couldn't find hers but she knew these weren't it. we had another tame mommy that i thought sure was going to explode. yesterday when i took their breakfast out i noticed 3 definite absences. well the first place i looked was in the car graveyard, there in the back on the floor were all three mommies and a pile of wriggling fur balls. so lets see there are 2 white ones 3 or 4 yellow ones, a few black ones, a black one with a yellow stripe thing on his head, and a black one with a white face.. i think there are ten in all. the last time Smokey lost a whole litter she did this too, she rounds up all the mommies and their offspring who will come, they all live together in a big kitty cluster no one ever remembers who is who's, we won't know this time either..

I'm catching up on posts after being offline for about 3 weeks or so, and just discovered this J'nette. I didn't know cats would do that! So how is the kitty kluster doing?

Aww. That's SOOO cute!! Animals are pretty resilient and pretty resourceful!
I think that's great that Bethany wants to be a vet! I'll just bet she WILL discover something! It would certainly make her rich!
