Ten Peeves that Dogs Have About Humans 1. Blaming your farts on me...not funny...not funny at all !!! 2. Yelling at me for barking. I'M A FRIGGIN' DOG, YOU IDIOT! 3. Taking me for a walk, then not letting me check stuff out. Exactly whose walk is this anyway? 4. Any trick that involves balancing food on my nose. Stop it! 5. Any haircut that involves bows or ribbons. Now you know why we chew your stuff up when you're not home. 6. The sleight of hand, fake fetch throw. You fooled a dog! Whoooo Hoooooooo what a proud moment for the top of the food chain. 7. Taking me to the vet for "the big snip", then acting surprised when I freak out every time we go back! 8. Getting upset when I sniff the crotches of your guests. Sorry, but I haven't quite mastered that handshake thing yet. 9. Dog sweaters. Hello Haven't you noticed the fur? 10. How you act disgusted when I lick myself. Look, I have no hands OR toilet paper!

I had a Maltese for over 15 years. I lost her last year. She was my very best friend. She was loving, and funny, and smart as a whip. (sounds like I am bragging on my youngun) lol. She was solid white and beautiful. She loved me (if dogs can love) and made every step I ever made. She could track me to wherever I went. I miss her.

I forgot to mention: She loved for me to work in the garden. She would smell every plant, dig a little, and roll in the dirt. On hot days, she would lay up under the bigger plants while I worked. She would stay there as long as I did.

Sorry to hear about you losing your best friend. Our "furkids" do something to us......... haven't figured it out yet, but they do, do something to us! That reminds me of something Jake did while I worked in my garden. He would wait till I was out of the tomato row and I was busy working elsewhere in the garden, then he would snatch cherry tomato and eat it. then if I still didn't catch him he'd move on tho the bigger tomatoes. He loves tomatoes! Crazy Dog!
