OMG! Where are you that gas is that high??? Hawaii?!?!? Caveman, those studes are cool cars! Why would we laugh??? Hubby used to have another old truck~I don't remember what year it was~pre 65 anyway~it was an old Datsun pick up. Man, was that thing cool! It looked a little like the old VW bug in P/U form. I hated to let him sell that one. Doug, you look like you have some good stable wheels under your bum and J'nette~you do have a bunch!!! Hubby used ta keep a lot of cars around, back when he was in the salvage business....I swear, I had a different vehicle to drive 'bout every 6 weeks! That was always fun.

Cavey, I used to have a 49 Willys Overland, it was Great! I drove it everywhere (even drove it thru the garage door) Then I spun a bearing, didn't have da cash to fix her, so I took the pan off, put a cigarette paper "shim" in da bearing cap, and drove her a spell more, then one day, I decided to put a fer sale sign on her....That was it, Lotsa coool old cars started coming by my house on the highway, seems there was a antique car show south of me...this 32 ford pulls in, asked what I wanted (already had 650.00 on da sign) city slickertook her for a spin, and my willys was GONE... Darn, shoulda asked fer more! Anyway, the last I knew, he was still driving it, cause I went to visit her, and the only thing he had done to her wa a new carb....asked him how the engine was...Fine still as tight as when Ya sold her to me he said!!
