Awesome, Jeanette! Now send that rain my way! We have 30% chances all week into next, but it never hits my side of town. Seriously, unless there's a 70% chance or more, it won't hit here. I've been watering twice a day, but there's nothing like a good ol' bout of rain to make my garden grow, y'know?

ok i'll send you the rain dance ladies, but be cautious because they are very powerful : The weather service said up to 6 inches of rain was reported from the storm, with Kossuth County and Algona getting the brunt of it. Algona radio station KLGA reported water was knee-deep in some streets during the height of the storm Tuesday night. Several basements were flooded, while many storm sewers couldn’t keep up with all the rain. here you go:

Still no rain here. Got up to 105*~NOT including heat index! Man, was it ! I was miserable all day. My central A/C cannot keep up in this kinda heat. As a matter of fact, its still running! The house stays about 85-86*. It is cooling off in here now, down to about 79*in the house. Anyway, I don't dare try to cook anything~can't even make a macaroni salad!! So, I went off to the mall, went to Sears and got myself a new 100ft rubber hose with a life time guarantee. Now I can start watering down that compost pile!! I hit a couple of other stores too, but we aren't gonna talk 'bout that...
