We fed the Birds today after I got home & they will be so happy to find a bunch of fresh food in the morning.. We will be taking pics of em this winter..

Yes I feed the wild birds here at a feeder and at one spot where the feeder used to be. I hope birdseed doesn't go up too. Maybe I should lay in a winters' supply in case? Where would I put it all.

You can keep extra bird seed in the fridge or freezer to keep it fresher longer. Ot in a galvanized can ouy in a farage/porch.

Wrennie, you're funny. There ain't room in either of my freezers for more than a teaspoon of seeds, but thanks anyway. Really I was just wondering out loud, (not the same as talking to myself) but now that I think about it, I might get the jump on inflation and stock up a little.

keep it outside in a garbage can. [its cold out n the can will keep other critters out] the plastic ones with the locks are great. i need to get a new one cuz rj used mine grrrrrrr so im using his project truck lol its in the front seat heehee.
i had some greese in a butter bowl to make suitcakes n the dang dogs found it!

We feed the birds all year long...just hung out more feed today, I buy the big round pressed seeds covered with a net, they fit on a holder...the squirrels have taken them over ! Since I have seen a few wild finch, I put out some thistle socks as well. We love to watch them.
