Phil: I did mention to the director when I applied and also on my application as well that my main interest are in Organics. As you say they are slow to make a commitment or transition, however I am up to the task of debating with the best of them.

Yea Joe, don't put up with any of that chemical crap. You tell them that the only way is the organic way. I wish organics were preached more in other parts of the country like down here in Texas. Slowly, we are converting them to the 'right side', and away from the nasty chemicals. Heard on the radio last Sunday, that some of the European countries are starting to oppose the GMO seeds and not allowing them into their countries. Having to much trouble germinating and growing. One country did an experiment and found a much better growth and harvest from the non GMO corn.

My title was Bond coordinator and SWPPS manager That meant that I was in charge of all storm water pollution protection in the entire Reagen, and I also have a civil engineering background in municipal projects as well. What I'm trying to say is I have always been a stanch advocate for pollution protection. And an avid student of Organics.

At the time, they were staunch advocates of chemical solutions to all problems Joe. They basically stopped asking for my participation, And I quit offering, because like I stated before, I did give pholks a choice, but always presented the organic methods first. Don't worry, I debated with them endlessly. The "debate" heated up when they said: Give the "traditional" methods first... Umm, scuse me...I am giving the "traditional" method first... ORGANIC The people were more interested in Organics... Now, In my book, it was what they wanted to hear But heaven forbid that I might suggest something NOT written in the Universities "accepted guidelines" Now I'll give them credit (or I may get hate mail) they have in the last 5-6 years started "expanding" their horizons...But mostly because now organic gardening is "trendy'...thats cool, We can charge more for Our Mators best part and the part I loved was helping the elderly, and very young "junior" gardeners from the inner city. Now, After hijacking your thread... (sorry)Back to normal programming for me

I don't who to answer first Rita or Phil. So it's like this I believe in the Organic way as both of you do, next I'm one stubborn SOB and hope that I don't have to prove it to Rutgers Aig. People. I feel your pain when you speak of following a particular guideline of education. As I once had to train EITs ( Engineers In Training) in the field everything was the BOOK. They learned real fast that me and the BOOK " Do Not Agree" and I always was able to prove my point. Rita I will check out that site.
