Use a towel or something to get as much out as you can and then soak the area with white vinegar and allow to dry. The smell should go away after the vinegar dries. Always worked for me

Here ya go....
How To Wash The Cat
1. Thoroughly clean the toilet.
2. Add the required amount of shampoo to the toilet water.
3. Obtain the cat and carry him to the bathroom.
4. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids (you may need to stand on the lid so that he cannot escape). CAUTION: Do not get any part of your body too close to the edge, as his paws will be reaching out for anything he can find.
5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a "power wash and rinse" which I have found to be quite effective.
6. Have someone open the door to the outside and ensure that there are no people between the toilet and the outside door.
7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.
8. The now-clean cat will rocket out of the toilet, and run outside where he will dry himself.
Sincerely, The DOG

Get some activated charcoal and put it on top of a piece of thin cloth it should absorb the smell

My favorite cat has disappeared, maybe she's in heat or a dog got her, We have hunted and hunted. Yesterday I put flyers in all the mailboxes and offered a reward. We have also just inherited another cat. Axeman calls her "Crystal" I asked him why, he said it's cause she runs around like she's on Crystal Meth!" She can't be still. She has taken up with him and won't get in my lap, my other cat that is lost had let all the others know that I belonged to her and to stay off. Man, talk about fur flying. She was so jealous of other cats in my lap. I miss her so much! I just wish she'd come home so I could get the little witch spayed! And the tears would stop!

This is the 6th day that she's been gone. I keep looking and waiting for phone calls. If the little witch comes home, she's going straight to the vet, if I don't kill her first for worrying me so much! It's my own fault, I should have took her to the vet months ago! Just didn't want to spend $150.00 and that's just for spaying! I've never been this attached to a cat in my life! Wouldn't you know she'd be the one gone. How long do they stay in heat. I heard it's until she gets preg. Well she oughta be by now! I've cried until I can't cry anymore.

Tster, They can stay in heat from 14-21 days, and then the average is about 3 weeks before entering heat again, if not bred. Keep the Faith, try praying to Saint Anthony...the finder of lost things, ain't saying it helped with Tank, but who knows, and it sure can't hurt. My hearts with Ya T... as for spaying her, there used to be a vet in Illinois,. by Hamilton, that did it much cheaper den anyone else. Now ifin I could remember his name The humane society may help ifin you ask with the fee.
