Well being it is November now I am looking through catalogs and websites and getting ideas on what to plant. Our new Landlord is giving us lots of leeway so not only do I have a huge area for veggies we have new areas for flowers as well. What I plan to do as always is to have plenty of tomatoes ,peppers,winter/summer squash ,pumpkins and melons along with beans, snap peas and a few old favorites long missed.Hope to have a nice amount of lettuce and maybe some Asian greens and potatoes and onions. It will be lots of work but I should have some helpers too.Looking foreword to it all and with luck I will even get to try the Ali Baba watermelon.

Kevin Hey Kevin how ya doin? I to plan on planting a lot this coming season. We will be concentrating on lots of root crop like carrots, beets, radishes, turnips, as well as the regulars for us Onions,Garlic. I have to expand on my greens also, but I am really anxious to try egg corn squash. We will be planting lots of verities of Tomato and Pepper too. This is going to be a much more diverse season for me, because we are starting our new Market Garden, should be a challenge but fun.

My "garden" will be confined to a couple bins and a few 5 gal buckets, as it was last year. If I'm still getting around good I plan to grow tomatoes, cukes, onions and set out the pepper plant that's been struggling along in the kitchen. Not a big garden but it will keep me busy as I want to be. I hope everyone has a banner year in 2012! ;D ;D

acorn and butternut squash: Some times I struggle with my spelling and this one made me laugh, as I spelled acorn squash "egg corn squash" . That's a classic. If Ruth had been here that wouldn't have happened. Thank goodness you new what I was tryin to say Kevin. Anyway we are stoked for this upcoming season. We will have to do a lot of planing and scanning of our seed catalogs. As soon as they get here. Right now I'm waiting for High Mowings catalog. I have used there seed in the past and had good results.
