hello i am a mother of three,wife, caregiver (elderly) I lived in the city all my life (long story short) husband lost job (medical Reasons) so we talked long and hard we needed to move back to his hometown nothing city here.. anyway we now live in the country, we have chickens ducks,peafowl,Guineans, and quail. We are a work in progress with our HUGE garden and projects . Well don't want to bore you i am so glad to be living the country life

hi and welcome!! Happy you found us !! Sorry tis the season we are all in and out right now prepping for the big holiday .. I also have 3 Boys .... da ole man makes 4 My boys are 7 10 and 17 .. I should play those 3 #'s in the lotto I do live in the city and can't wait to be out in the country again .. I really miss the quietness

Welcome samcountrygirl! Glad to meet you. Hope you have a great time here on the phorum and if you haven't guessed by now, pholks here like to randomly substitute the letter "f" for "ph." It threw me at first, but I figured what the heck - seriously - I think you're gonna love gettin' to know the people here. They really are a super bunch! And there's no shortage of stupendously helpful gardening info, cooking info, and assorted simple living whatnot.

Welcome Samcountrygirl. I'm a phormer cityperson turned countryperson come back to the city again (phor good ). But just cuz the boonies wasn't a good phit for me, doesn't mean I didn't enjoy some of country living, mostly the critters! Enjoy your new lifestyle.
