I planted my pepper seeds on Feb 2, one I notice has sprouted as of last nite. I will move that pot this a.m. to a spot under the bright daylight spiral flo bulb. 6 days, not bad. I hope others have come up overnite but that one has to go under the light regardless. There are 6 seeds in that pot if I remember. ETA: As of thurs, Feb 9th- 4 Fish peppers and 2 Bull's horn have broken the ground I'm all smiles. I am glad to see these first signs of spring. Spring is always my favorite time.

;D I was trying to get what's ON the truck out of the shot- 2 mini Jack Daniel's bottles. Had to use that shelf to take the pic, things are crazy here this week with ongoing construction, etc. Most every surface here is covered with Coke collectable stuff, not mine so I can't move it much

Thanks guys. I did finally seed the tomatoes. 6 per pot, they'll be thinned out to 2 or 3. Also started a few seeds of a ground cherry. Maybe I won't go overboard with plants, still got lots of seeds but I'm definitely thru ordering. Come on spring! Planted early girl tomatoes, delicious for slicing, aussie 'cause I never grew them before, supposed to be big. Porterhouse, another slicer and parks whopper. Also started some Giant Cape Gooseberry. Had several kinds of tomato and pepper that didn't make the cut, just no room.

I did have good seeds, plus I stand over them and remind them of what COULD happen if they don't produce, LOL. Seriously, it's the bottom heat, makes all the difference.

Containers all in one place, maybe not final arrangement. The totes will have the slicer tomatoes, buckets peppers or Cape gooseberry or cherry toms (not started yet.) Mixed in a little lime and watered so they will settle. I'll top them off when I set the plants out mid-April.

Rita was nice enough to send me some super-hot pepper seeds which I planted on Feb 28. They came up yesterday, woo-hoo. Now I have to make sure I have a spot for them, I actually have 4 kinds of peppers now, lol. I was trying to keep it small! Each type will get it's own 5-gal bucket, maybe more than one plant to a bucket for the small types. All good ;D. Thank you Rita!

You might remember some time ago when I was really ill I thought I wouldn't have another garden so I gave all my seeds (about 5 lbs) including saved seeds to a young couple with a new house and baby. It felt good to do what I thought was something that would help them. NOW they are back to drinking and fighting and calling the law on each other. What a waste that was. End of , lol.

That's sad Mo... heck I am disappointed when we don't get a success..or failure report on seeds we send out I'd go repossess them we only have the onions up and doing good and Laura started some broccoli and cauliflower the other day...all the rest is going to be started prior to next weekend though!!

70 degrees several days this coming week is the forecast. Of course there will still be freezes but this weather is really making me want to plant something outside. I gave those seeds with no strings BUT it does gall me if I dwell on it, so I'll shut up, lol. I just can't imagine anyone too busy or lazy to plant tomato seeds when she is a SAHM. Sad and it reflects on whoever raised them I'm afraid.

Our garden area ground is literally frozen solid yet. We were out walking around in ours today..all over it is thawed. Never really froze way down deep. So this week we shall plant peas. Plus we were planning where we are going to put things. Planted some pepper seeds, early cabbage today too. We have several little broc. & hopefully some cauliflower up. The rest will be planted by the end of the week. Or before.
