Thanks you guys! We are building a covered deck beside our pool area. We did all the work you see a couple years ago before I hurt my back, now we are working towards getting the pergola top going and bench/rails done

We were making phenomenal progress, then I sneezed and herniated a disk in my back in 2012. We haven't done a darn thing since then... Hopefully this summer we can get some more done

I got lucky I didn't know what was wrong with me I just started getting tingling in my toes then it went up my leg I couldn't find a DR. That knew what was wrong with me for so long.I got to a point I had to move my leg with my hand in my pocket (swing it back) that leg got so thin. So I was losing muscle mass in that leg. Then I found a dr. He took one look at me and said you have a pinched nerve in your back. I said my back doesn't hurt. It was the second to the last disk that was herniated he did surgery and I have been wonderful ever since! Altho I am careful! I don't know what caused it! I was so thankful to find that Dr. I even got a long letter from him afterward. It's a long story. That Hosp. is closed up now. I wish I could find him and pop in to see him. It's been at least 15 years ago.

I am so aggravated! Checked the greenhouse yesterday and somehow one of the cats had ended up in there and had LAID on my flat of sprouts. shake dtb I tried to move it to see how badly they were damaged and the whole shelf fell and the flat ended up on the concrete floor upside down I managed to get everything turned right side up, but that was my fully sprouted flat...and now half to 3/4 are broken or unable to be salvaged shake I wanted to cry. Oh, well...guess it is back to square one...

I would have sworn I had posted in here more recently, but have had a LOT going on. I spread topsoil and composted cow manure over the whole thing, bedded it out and planted everything. I planted 2 rows of tomatoes, one row of peppers, half row of squash, half row of zukes, 2 half rows of cukes, broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, onions, and I swear there was something else.... anyhoo- all the broccoli died, so did the cauliflower. have 2 little brussel sprout plants remaining, but the rest is doing great! My tomatoes are now about 6-8 inches tall and nice and healthy, peppers are a little slower- but growing, the onions are going nuts and the cukes and zukes are already blooming agree OKRA! Thats the other thing I planted! It is doing great as well. I am in the process of weeding right now, on hold while we get a rain shower, but will try and get pics today. I am psyched! I have missed my garden!

And then there is this tomato plant... it has NOT grown since being transplanted...it isn't dead, but is not growing- The rest of my tomatoes are knee high or thereabouts....this one MIGHT be to my ankles. What is going on?? All the seeds were planted and sprouted at the same time and they were all transplanted at the same time and have recieved the same care??

Mine are only about 6-8 inches tall, the picture makes them look bigger I guess. I had to restart my brussel Sprouts, broccoli, and cauliflower from seed... I'm thinking I have either a possum or a raccoon in my garden. ZFound tracks this morning. So far, they are not mesing with anything, but I have LOTS of .22 shells...Just in case agree

Is anyone else having almost only male flowers on squash and cucumbers this year? I have 6 zucchini, 6 squash and probably 12+ cucumber vines and have gotten VERY little so far as far as fruit goes. I have gotten ONE squash and ONE zucchini and maybe 10 cucumbers while everyone around Brunswick County(where I live) is having bucket fulls... What am I doing wrong?

I've gotten a ton of squash this year. In the beginning I think I had more male than female flowers but it changed after a while. I hand pollinated the females I had to start with. Not sure if that would make a difference in flower production.
