We are having such odd-ball weather, it has been anywhere from 50 to 80 during the day, and 30 to 40 at night, not enough cold weather that we will need to set fruit, I am afraid. Some trees have some tiny buds already, and then the freezes will hit, and there will probably be no wild fruit to pick this summer. Seems like we need to do a rain dance as well. We are really in need of rain for our state.

I know what you mean, its near 70 here now. Its more like springtime weather. Usually Jan. and Feb. are our coldest months. I overdressed for work, should have on shorts and T-shirt.......burning up here. I look for some of my fruit trees to start setting buds to. Trudy

I second you grannyg. I just heard the wildfires jumped across into Colorado. Now there are 5 states where wild fires have burned. 12 inches of rain in a week won't be enough, but at least it is a start.
