I have a problem with mole crickets!! have any of you out there had any experience with these horrid creatures?? They are eating the roots of my lettuce, (dread to think what they will move on to!)I find one dead every day?? Its like paying taxes!!!! I thought of sinking some plastic bottles round the roots. I'm not keen on using non organic pest control. Any ideas?? Any tips advice would be greatly appreciated XX

thank you biscombe for being organic. It is so much better for us and the environment. What I have been doing for grub worms, may even work for mole crickets, is to grind up orange peelings and till into the ground. Since your garden is already planted, you could just bury some of the peelings around your plants. Don't put to much in the soil beause it will kill the good organic bugs. I have not seen any grubs since I have been usingthe ground up orange peelings.
