Yes I would look for a freezer. You will be surprised how much you two will eat fresh from the garden. I give alot to neighbors and people I work with. Gardening is a great stress reliever. I was out last night pulling weeds out of the garden in the mud. I don't have all the mulch down yet and it rained during the day. They come out easier. I didn't care if I got full of mud. Like my Mother used to say, when I was growing up, Soap and water works wonders. She didn't care if we got dirty. We would just take a bath and get clean once again.

HI all! Thanks for the replies. I've come indoors cos i'm over faced with the amount I've got to do in the garden! I keep telling myself that this must be the busiest time of year. Up to now I've been really keen and packing the hours in every weekend but today i'm feeling a bit down! I'm doing this on my own (other half is doing the place up!) OK!!! got that off my chest! I'm going back out there to face the music!!!!!

Don't give up biscombe. Working in the garden, even as hard of work as it may seem, is a good stress reliever and it beats working in the house. You will be happy once the veggies start to ripen. Home grown sure beats boughten veggies and it saves you money. You just have to go visit the garden and not have to worry about spending petro (gas) for your car. Plus we all like to dig in the dirt. 'Speciall y when it is organic dirt.

Sounds like a bad case of the Gardening Bug to Me If your garden produces well, You will have a bounty for sure. Fear not, I have planted 70 tomatoes often, and the Zukes, about right for a vegetarian couple. Gotta love Eggplant Parmesan And don't pheel alone Biscombe, Monay through Friday I am mentally exhausted after work, Wekends is about it, Don't know if we will plant all 6,250 square feet or garden, or not, promised Ourselves we would "cut-Back" ( If you backtrack, I admitted we might be Lieing about this) Every year, no matter what, in the fall, I always plan on reducing, in the spring......we shall see

Biscombe, get as much mulching materials as you can find.
spend alot lesstime weeding and alot more time canning, freezing dehydrating.
which reminds me time to check on my dehydrator, has onion, celery and carrots in it todayl
for making soups later this year. hugsss
