Hi, I was wondering if anyone uses Kaolin for pest control on Cucumbers and Squash plants. How much does it cost and where can you buy it from? Thanks Iris and Quilts

Hi Iris & quilts, the Kaolin, of which you speak, is also known as China Clay, it's been around foryears. It does control cuke beetles, at least light infestations. When mixing, try to avoid breathing the powder, if already mixed, or after you mix, while applying, shake the sprayer often to keep it blended. As for the price and source, the Product, Surround is sold in some locations, and is also available from Gardens Alive, I do not know the price. Try clicking Gardens AliveGee I hope thats right?? and type surround into the search bar for the company.

Down south here in Texas we use it to control grasshoppers. Don't remember what it costs.
