as we have been enjoying a warm 'winter' here, more of a semi spring/winter, & I have been digging new garden beds & broadcasting annual ryegrass on each new bed since late Sept. or so & all that grass keeps germ. I decided why not sow some cool weather veg. on one end of the most recent work. what I done was to mix a bunch of old seeds & a few new ones together; radish, beet, cabb., salads, onions etc.,(3ft) I had noticed onions sprouting volunteer 2 weeks ago so they don't know its Not Spring Yet! It has been in the 40's during the nite & upper 50's to lower60's during the days. Of course there was frost this AM but not heavy at all. When it sprouts will sow another 3ft. Cheers!

I am tempted plant onions and potatoes shortly not waiting until late February. It has been very warm and fairly dry in WNC here the last couple of weeks.
