We planted a Sungold tomatoe plant here about 8 years past in the first garden I grew when we moved here. Every year hence volunteers sprout in the early spring. Last year 1 grew & never got watered until the fall when I started to clean up. This plant froze back a little, earlier this fall, now I have been keeping it covered during colder nights as we want to save some seed. Now there are lots of ripe fruit on it & we had snacked upon 1/2 dozen nice tasting tomatoes this evening, very flavorful for this time of year. This plant is very hearty. I'm going out to go cover it now. Cheers
