I figured I'd introduce some of my cats. Oliver and his sister Gizmo were born in our barn when we lived in WI. He is the light colored one in the middle, and she is the grey one right next to him. When they were old enough to be weaned, they got moved to the house. Typical of cats, the immediatly took the place over. Gizmo was named after the Gremlin, and Oliver was named after my tractor (I've never even seen the Disney movie). Growing up, they were a real pair. Never knew what they would get into. They both became good hunters. We moved to SD when they were 2, and they settled in fine. They are now 7 years old, and mostly the excel in being where they should not be. Cathy

My tractor IS an Oliver. 1964 model 1800C. My Dad farmed with Olivers so I was very happy to get one after we moved out of the city. Cathy

Laura, - her ears were frost bit. She had the barn and hay and other cats to keep warm with, so I'm not sure what happened.
Gizmo also got the very tips of her ears frost bit. I let my cats out, and one winter night she didn't come in right away. Usually I stay up until they are all in, but I fell asleep and Gizzy was left out when the temps got real cold. She was curled up by the house when I woke up. Poor kitty!
