Caveman's correct... It is BLM... must of inserted a small '' L''..........
Dap.... The BLM has annual sales in Crossville Tn, most horses can be adopted for about 150 bucks.... Spirit dancer came from there, he was born on some island near Virginia. Don't know his exact age, but the papers show approximatly 8 years....
Yes Jeanette, that sure was Marshall Matt's horse......
And Cavey, thanks for the compliments, and encouragements.
Now as soon as we can fix that flat tire on the horse trailer we can get him over here next week.

Sure is Dap, they encourage people to purchase wild mustangs and burros from the Bureau of Land Management BLM...
Like I said adoption is usually only 150.00, all they ask is that you house and feed the animal. After the year is up they give you adoption papers and the animal is yours..
Most of the mustangs thou are wild.... You have to break them all by yourself.
Spirit dancer was a lucky find.... Yup we just re-imbersed the gentleman his 150.00, he is saddle broke now, but he will just be an additional lawn mower so to speak around here.

Is that why so many pholks have horses 'round here in NE AL? I rarely see anyone riding! But the horses are EVERYWHERE!!

Here in Ok. in addition to the sale at Pauls Valley broke BLM horses can be found at Helena at the prison. The inmates break and finish out the horses so that they are ready to ride!

He is just gorgeous CF! I see you have been adding quite a variety of critters, how is he getting along with the alpacas? We are having a miniature 4 year old gelding delivered here on SUnday, looking forward to seeing my daughter bond with him and become great friends.
