Saw the vascular surgeon in Atlanta this week. They did the simultaneous blood pressure cuffs on both sides and doppler ultrasound on the legs. Good news is that the circulation is only slightly impaired. Bad news is that the edema is neuropathic in nature, and permanent. Treatment is with water pills, medications for pain and keeping the legs elevated .
The soonest the VA can schedule the gallbladder surgical consult is May 14th, with the actual surgery after that. This is unless the gallbladder ruptures, etc., before then and I have to go in for emergency surgery. Our government at work....
Meanwhile, we're going to start saving up for a laptop - we've got a phorum phamily member who's loaning us one, thank God With the edema situation, we're going to find one to keep permanently.

Looks like ya got some good news and some bad news....Bro, the phamily is with ya on this 24/7, so with our power behind ya i'm sure everythin will be just fine I can go to the VA anytime i need....well, i went one time....they seemed more like Larry, Curly and Moe.......i told them where they could stick it and never been back.

Got yer back OOB and DH.. My dad has had dealings with the VA in the not to distant past .. Prove its a problem .. Prove they caused it ect .. Pain in the butt!!
