This was the 2nd annual event held for the Buckhorn Children's Center. Halfway to Hazard are local boys who have done really well and they headline this event. There is music on Sat. and then a trail ride on Sunday, for 4 wheelers, side by sides and dirtbikes. They said they raised over $250,000 this yr. Here's some pics. wow, now dats my kinda party...nice pics, thanks for sharing...wish I had been there It was a great time. Hopefully, it'll be again next yr if anyone wants to plan to attend. They had primitive camping this year. And the cost to get in was on $10 a person or $20 a carload!! Some had to do a lot of walking from where they parked but I told Hubby to ask about the handicapped parking and we got to park close to the stage. So we were lucky we didn't have to pack our coolers of ice cold beer and water and chairs too far. And me and my friend made our own porta potty after it got dark and late, we took 2 quilts and got between our trucks and did the nature thing. lol |
