The results of the catscan the VA did yesterday on my abdominal area to hopefully find the cause of the ongoing pain.
They supposedly should have some info or results by the end of the week, so we can figure out the next course of action. Meanwhile, I'm putting everything in HIS hands - a few extra prayers from anyone would be appreciated. (I also thank God for the pain meds which take the edge off so I can function somewhat....)
Had to drink not just one, but TWO lovely barium milkshakes, plus an IV in the back of my right hand for contrast dye....
Yesterday was also my regular followup appt with my lung doc - everything ok there. Did have to get a blood gas drawn from an artery on the left wrist, so BOTH hands are sore today.
Also killed another bird - got the first of two flu shots (H1N1 serum won't be available until sometime next month). Flu shots always get me achy and "fluey" for a couple of days, but it's better than getting the full blown flu and/or pneumonia.
Will post when we find out the results of the scan....keep us in your prayers, please....
