AGE.....?Broke the 50 barrier couple years ago,pleased to have made it this far actually. MARITIAL STATUS/FAMILY.......Me and Mrs,kids all grown and all doing well,LOTS of grandkids and love em all. WHICH OPPCLP MEMBER WOULD YOU LIKE TO MEET OR WHICH ONES HAVE YOU ALREADY MET...?..Ive actually met forum members elsewhere and its a wonderful thing. If you EVER get the chance to meet forum buddies do so.Its like youve known em for years,it truly is a neat thing. So most folks Ive talked to I would sure like to meet. HOW HAS OPPCLP ENRICHED YOUR LIFE?......Success stories get us excited to try,and weve had some successes too.Very hard to grow here,I live in a forest at 5000 feet,little sunlight thru trees and I get real 4 season weather and very short summer. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO GROW..........BEST thing weve grown is tomatoes,took us YEARS to actually get a crop believe it or not,next year will be our best ever,as was this year past,gets better every year. WHAT IS ONE ITEM YOU CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT!?.......Electricity,see hobbies below ONE THING YOU WOULD OWN IF MONEY WAS NO OBJECT?.....Homestead in tropics by waters edge IF YOU COULD GO ANY WHERE IN THE WORLD WHERE WOULD IT BE?...We would go visit our Forum Friend Epi in Australia,to see her and son first,then the country.See the above about meeting forum members. My next trip will be North Cal to see Bud and wife and enjoy life on the offgrid farm. Fav athelte Mohammad Ali,was willing to give up everything for his beliefs,a fortune actually.Thats character.Actually met him about 1998 or so,has the palsy,very awesome man. WHAT ARE SOME HOBBIES YOU HAVE?....Solar power,homesteading,newest is canning. WHAT ATTRACTED YOU AND KEPT YOU INTERESTED IN OPPCLP..?....Gardening IS homesteading.Its a very nice forum with super folks,gotta love it.I read a lot more than I post,BTW,as Im more of a learner here. Boy do I miss that little girl. Spuds 4 years or so ago....  Spuds shortly before she left us....  Soooo....thats what the Spuds family is about.Thanks folks,its been a pleasure to know you all. PS,only organic gardening,NO pesticides,chicken for fertilizer,and compost.And at that dont lose much to pests but powdery mildew has been a problem |
