There some nice photos CouleeKeeper, I watched an Oriole chasin a Robin today, he was chatterin away that's what brought my attention to lookin up in our pine tree. Don't know what all the trouble was about but he sure was p.... off.
Another peculiar thing happened to me today while in my garden I was sittin at the end of one of the rows setting up our drip system when all of a sudden I hear wings flutterin and bam this little TiT Mouse hits the ground next to me. I thought he was dead, but I could see his eye blinkin so I picked him up and layed him in the palm of my hand straightened his wings out and just gave him a little confert by strokin him with my thumb. I could see he was pretty dazed by the fall so I held him for a few minutes and finally he straightened up and flew off. Couldn't figure out what happened. Maybe it was a crash landing. No fire though.

Maybe it collided with another bird, or it saw you and tried to play dead.
