Last week Tank was gone till about noon, then came back, the next day ( Thursday) he was gone till around 4 in the afternoon...
He was gone again Friday at 6 a.m.
and has not returned.
Whats keeping me going is that I hope he is trailing a bitch in heat, there are many out here, And it is that time of year
and if a dog can scent a female for 3 miles, then out here on the flat lands, thats probably 6 miles...
We drove for 60 miles, and more we didn't figure in, zig zagged across country roads, just around the pharm here, I done yelled till my throats raw
I will be looking for him today, and have the neighbor lady emailing and contacting all the neighbors around here, as she knows everyone.
I had Tank since he was born, kept him out of all the pups and found homes for the rest and the mother, had him going on ten years.
Tanks my buddy, he was my only companion till I met Laura, the only one out here to talk to, although he can't say words, he gets making these different grunts, whines and noises that lets you know he's trying to answer...
he is the kindest dog towards cats and other creatures (cept coons)
He lets me know when anything or anybody is in the yard, a very important thing when you live out in the country, he guards the house, he makes Us Laugh...and cry...
He's Family, We love him, he loves us...I'm hurting so much
