Yes, the old boy returned home I went to tracking him this morning, fresh snow, on the edge of the property, I found dog tracks, one large, a couple others of different size...followed the tracks, found three spots where something had laid, and there was NO SNOW...tracks led off to the N.E. walked just a little, calling for him... And THERE HE WAS!! Like a mirage.... I don't think I have ever cried so hysterically, all the while hugging his ol carcass... He, in return, looked at me like.."Whats Up wit YOU"?? Thanks Everyone for your Prayers, thoughts, kind words, heart felt-touching Personal messages...all were very touching and they ALL helped Tank...find his way home. River Valley Mamma, Yesterday, she suggested that I pray to Saint Anthony, the finder of lost "things" (tank fits this category well) Now we don't know what worked, how, why, or where he's been all thats important is he's home, he's safe, and un-damaged (relatively) he HAS BEEN SCRAPPIN with something...but from the other tracks, and spots in the snow where three animals had laid... HE was OUT WOMANIZING... I fed him, he was famished, watered him,, loved him up... and for the next week, he'll be close to home...fer sure, as I tied him to his dog house... again, that LOOK from Him... Hey, what'd I do?? THANKS AGAIN PHORUM PHAMILY, This is just another example of the kinda pholks we have in this Phamily...Loving, Caring, kind and the best collections of Humans EVER gathered together in one place!! also, thanx for bearing with my brooding the last few days... P.S. TANK, Sez: THANKS PHOLKS

What a great day this has turned out to be!
Oh Phil, see? I told you he'd turn up! A little faith goes a long way, and never underestimate the power of prayer.
I just love happy endings! This sure is a prime example of one, isn't it?!!! I just knew when you described his behaviour right before he disappeared altogether, that he would return.
Soooooo happy for you guys, and for Tank too. Enjoy your doggy!
Looks like it's going to be a Happy Easter, after all!

Oh!! I am so happy Tank is home safe!! I know the 3 of you will rest good now!! We have a playboy too. He is a black lab and he is now gone more than he is home, but he comes home to eat every few days. And we know where he is. A neighbor a couple miles away has a bunch of dogs and he stays up there. We've gone after him time and again, tie him up for a few days but as soon as he is loose, he's gone again. So, we feed him when he is home and hope he is enjoying his time there. Again, Thank God Tank is home safe!!
