This is flooding at my nephew's father-in-laws house. Victor Shouse(Cavey, you prolly know him). He is in Lex in the hosp. It got up 5 ft in his basement. Got in the car you see in the pics. A corvette and 2 golf carts, his washer, dryer and much more.

I didn't realize that things were so bad. I sure didn't see it on the news here. All are on my prayer list. Thanks for posting. CF

Cavey, you're rt about the poor people. Most of these people were renting. And to see those tents set up for them to live in broke my heart. but I understand there is a lot of help coming to them. The Buckhorn Childrens center I know has helped plus alot of fire depts and etc. I know all the help in the world can't replace their personal things like pics and momentos. I know lives are more important and of course they need clothes and food and a place to live. But the thoughts of losing my pics and some of my momentos, like little notes my Daddy wrote me when he was alive , Dustin's baby stuff would totally devestate me. I feel so sorry for them. But again, thank God none of these people lost their lives.

Here's more on the flood......... Breathitt County farmers washed out from flood Two weeks after the flood, farmers in Breathitt County say their fields are just beginning to dry out. For families that depend on their produce to make ends meet, they say trying to replant now will hurt their crops and their wallets. www.wkyt.com/wymtnews/headlines/45773642.html
