Some of the Babies: 603 Needham (it produced the 527 pounder last season for Me) 1027Beachy 892 Beachy (the F21 hybrid) The 892 is sorta Phreaking out, the thing is about a foot and a half long, has 5 flowers already to pop and looks like a secondary vine? Notice the odd indents on the leaf stem.

We had some wind and rain last night, but all is well. We worked up the Punkin Plots on Say, Added. to the already compost rich soil, some epsom salts,(1/2 cup per 100 sq.ft. ,Neem granules, (1 lb. per 100 sq.ft.) and some Bonemeal, (about a cup per 100 sq. ft.) So the Rain watered it in really good. I will get some pics tonight.

I was just wondering how big your pumpkins are right now? I have two plants with one pumpkin on each. one is about 35 pounds the other is about 10 pounds. also, iI was wondering when and if I should build something too shade them with. Thanks for all the advice!

We need to get sand under the pumpkin's so they can scoot along as they grow. I would guess our biggest is..50lb's or more. We haven't had the time to measure it yet..Today maybe..

Yea Laura, if you don't, your's will go the way mine did this year. But next year will be different!! The tent I put over mine baked them. It was just to hot for them, even with all the water I gave them.
