Hi everyone, I went and phinally got ahold of a 100 pound pumpkin seed to plant. I didn't realize there was a special process to grow large pumpkins. So I think I'll pick up on the information on here and see what happens. Here's a phew photos of the progress: I figured this plant would get too large for our gardens, so I planted it in my meighbor's yard. What a great guy...... He said "you can plant anything you want in my garden.....as long as you take care of it" lol He's an awesome guy. Kratz7

Thanks everyone, I can only hope it will have at least one 100 ponder.....lol We just had some rain come through, so I got a reprieve from Mother Nature and didn't have to water everything tonight. I'm sure it will have a "growth spirt". Kratz7

Hi everyone, The seed is just a 100 pound pumpkin seed, I received it from a seed swap last Fall. I would like to try the pumpkins next year too. So, can I save seeds from this pumpkin? Here's a few more recent growth: Kratz7

Man, how big a hole did you have to dig for that '100 pound' punkin seed? You outta get a 10,000 lbs punkin from that one seed. Good luck and keep us posted with the ongoing results.
