Nice garden you have there. The size doesn't matter.

Thanks everyone! I must say having a small garden is easy to care for. I'm a bit intimidated about having a larger garden next year. Still no ripe maters, they are green and hard . Is there anything I can do to "speed" up the ripening process? Someone told me to put a whole apple next to the base of each plant, and it should ripen the maters. Is this true? I'm a new gardener, so I wouldn't know if it were true or not. We got a nice soaker rain this morning, just what the garden needed!

Hi there, yes I intend to visit more regularly. I have re-organised my bookmarks so that my favourite boards all open together, that way I can pop into all of them and not forget anyone!. Today in SA it has been wet and cold but thats OK because we need all the rain we can get to fill the dams for summer. I'v been away in Malaysia for a work then holiday trip and have posted some pics of some of the flowers there. Hope you like them!
