HI Crazy 1! Posted a pic at last!!!!! Orange trees at the front and olives at the back! I've gone a little bonkers with the canes!!! some support for my young toms!!!! Heres the view from our front door!!

Those are some good pics there biscombe, The place looks wonderful... You get enough olives to do anything with them, like olive oil or canning? If ya do post em in the Pantry...
That is pretty looking area... there . Thanks again for the pics...

Got four, 5 litre bottles of olive oil! from our olives! we just pick the olives and take them to the mill and they do the rest (enough to do here!!!!) Greg send me a PM or email with your address and I'll pop you request in the post!! Have a good week u all!!

Wow what a view. Wish I had a view like that. Like the trellis, does it hold up the toms pretty good? And what is the bushy green stuff next to it? Thanks for sharing. trudy

HI Trudy! the green stuff is going bonkers at the moment (about to seed) but it's swiss chard. I think It's been the best thing in the garden so far! more sturdy than spinach!! I hope the trellis will do the job and hold up the toms! we'll have to wait and see!! It's all an experiment at the moment! an exciting one though!!!! oh my goodness how beautiful.. imagine being able to pick your own olives... i bet they taste totally different than canned or jared ones... i would love to try fresh olives

Hi all, arent you a great bunch of people!!!!! Olives taste really bitter from the tree, you need to soak or salt them, tried once but its a fiddle!!!! its better for us to pick and take them to the mill!!!!! maybe i'll try and send you all some!!!!! I'm really enjoying the forum thanks to you all xx
