We have fields of it around here to Kelly, sure does make a mess along the roads though. Have you ever been to Westville and watched how they deseeded it back in the old days. They have a large room of sorts full of it, that would be neat to just fall into. Soft looking. trudy

I think they had a display of pictures and such of how they used to deseed the cotton long time ago when we went to the fair. My memory fails me now. They didn't make too big of a mess around here, just a few puffballs here and there. There was one area where they drug a lot of mud out of the field when it had rained, but it washed away pretty quick. It is quite a sight to see, very beautiful. I wonder what they will plant this spring. There was corn way off in a nother field next to it. It would be kinda creepy with seeing all the scary movies with corn fields in them....creeeepy! LOL

this is iowa.. we are all about corn here, it's even on our coin i think.. we farm about 600 acres 1/2 of which is corn..i also grew up on a farm so i've been around corn all my life, the tall corn has come in handy from time to time when , in my younger days, a situation arose where i had to hide from the cops believe me we get a charge out of people that aren't used to the tall corn.. on halloween we take them through the corn maze....

Yeah, the Blair Witch Project movie...now help my brain cramp, whats the name of the movie M Knight Shamalans movie, with Mel Gibson, where the aliens try to invade? That one had corn all around their house, and it would blow when one of the invisible ships were hovering...or something...me babbling along with ya...

oh gosh you guys, that movie was signs, now i love the rustling corn and am never afraid day or night ... that movies scared the daylighyt out of me, i was up by myself watching it, scared my self so bad that i didn't want to go to the bathroom, i'm sure i looked like an idiot scurrying up the stairs turning every single light in the house on, trying not to wet myself cuz i waited to long... then i was scared to come out of the bathroom.. i had to stay up and watch HGTV for an hour just to counteract the spookey...
