I can never remember thu name of these but I call them my Purple Soldiers since they seem to stand guard at the corner of thu house by thu computer room. Just a few of the many tulips we had, I kept bringing them in the house by the dozens.

I have a yard that seems to have something in blo ;)om from early spring until fall. I failed to take photos of some of the early varieties this year.

I looked them up and yes they are allium. They are related to onions but the don't have any smell of onion or anything.
