HI Laura, Aching this morning! but I think I've done all the digging I need to do!! Most of the trees you see are orange trees but where the corn is growing thats where the olive trees are! If yo mean whats the white round the trees its lime! a friend who came to visit insisted on liming the base of the trees even though no other orange trees in the area are!!! I think it's supposed to stop the ants going in to the trees but apparently the ants ants are good for the trees!(bet the locals had a laugh at that one!!) I have 2500 m2of land on three levels but phew!! dont use all of it for growing veggie's. I work 4 days a week! but would like to garden full time!

Forgot your pole question! They are bamboo canes, we get them from the riverbed near us. We only pick the dead ones! handy having a free supply nearby!

biscombe, that is one good looking garden you got there. It's a lot of work, but worth all the effort you put into it. Especially come harvest time. Can't beat fresh veggies. Do you have real good fertile soil over there in Spain?

You will have to post a picture of bugs bunny for us. BTW, your garden is looking good. Keep up the good work, even if it hard work. It will pay off in the long run at harvest time.
