Thanx DAP! We went out yesterday and only got about 50 caps. Kinda bummed after such a great day the day before. Today will be rest and regroup, mow the lawn, innoculate petri dishes, work in the garden, and so on. Oh yeah, and rest in there somewhere Walked some serious miles this week, but it was well worth it.

No itcin' here. We wear long sleeves and wash up as soon as we get home. You wouldnt belive the stuff we go through to get to those little tasty buggers. Had to check the pic, those are May Apples. They grow everywhere in the woods here. At least in the moist areas.

Thanx Caveman! >:(I use a bag from our cider press. It has small holes in it, the onion sacks tear the caps up to much. Kinda nice to phind a spot no one else has phound!

Heres todays phinds minus 3 dozen, given to a dear old phriend. Her huband used to shroom with me. He passed last year, so I made sure she had whatever she wanted. She's sooooo sweet, like a grandma to me.

Yup it's a sweet tator. Got some slips started and gonna move them into water to get some roots soon! The ground we phound him on is partially a deer and turkey sanctuary! Not many shrooms to phind yesterday.........his mom probably ate em" The area is 450 acres!
