Since last week when these were posted we got a few more pics on Sunday.. Over the weekend we harvested a whole buncha herbs.. Lollygagged around on Sat. morning.. cant remember what else we did on Sat aft. we cleaned a bird feeder out..it needed it badly.. Sunday was a different story..we got up early..were out side by 8 a.m. & werkin on the maters..doin a lil trimming..the plants are so full & bushy they needed to be thinned out..so the maters can ripen.. we did 28 of the plants..there are 13 or so left to do & some of them are o.k...not as full as the main crop..8 are pretty full. We picked our 1st big bunch of sweet corn..here it is.. It is really good!! We picked 5 & 1/2 dozen ears & fixed it for future meals.. Next is our 1 st mater..a Amish Paste..it sure was yummy.. Then we made a bundt cake from scratch..with everything else going on.. It was a Pumpkin/Choc. Chip cake..had the pumpkin from last year. It turned out real good. Had a busy weekend none the less..
