Started about 9:30 PM Eastern - yesterday we had tornado warnings, and today it's snow - a rare event for middle Georgia. First pic taken around 1:30 PM Eastern....Second pic taken at 3:30 PM Eastern

WOW!! For GA- that IS a heap of snow! We are supposed to get some tonight/early morning. Hope it passes us, because school is already on a 2 hour delay and it hasn't even hit yet.

Phil - yes, that is our "Charlie Brown" sawtooth oak we planted the weekend before we moved in. He's grown a little, and hopefully my greatgrandchildren will swing on him. We planted it in memory of our beloved nephew Tom who died at 39 of leukemia....

When I moved in here Bro, there was this twisted lil oak tree, looked alot like that lil tree ya got... the limbs were tangled from the high winds here, and shear neglect. You know, I cut out what was needed, took 2x4's notched on the eneds to hold the other limbs in the proper directions...that lil eyesore, is now a darn nice Oak... the thing isn't in the best spot...at less sensible wise, cause it's roots feed off the sewer pipe...but, it sure gets a steady supply of manure Nice tree bro...It'll be a mighty lil oak, and before you know it...I'll snap a pic of thisun, it's now fairly tall, it was about 8 ft. when I got here...
