Anyone ever grow soldaki tomatoes? I gt one at our Library fair. Never heard of it before. We bought seeds for them & have a plant in the garden. Sounded interesting so we are giving them a try.

Oh cool, I found this on an Heirloom ( )seed site: "An heirloom from Poland. A dark pink fruit with low acid and great taste. A good slicer due to its flat shape. Pink"

I grew it once several years ago. It didn't set well here in my climate. I'm in very SW KS. Hot, high winds and semi arid. Only grew one plant one year. Should probably give it another try. But have seeds for so many I want to try I just haven't. As I remember from my memory (which fails me at times) it had a good flavor. Not in my top 5-6 but still good. I think it would do better in milder climates. Many varieties can't take the heat , wind and low humidity here. Hope it does well for you. Jay

I never grew them either, just one of many tomatoes I'll never get around to.
